Silver Spirit is the embodiment of modern luxury infused with timeless charm. Originally launched in 2009 and beautifully refurbished in 2018, the ship blends the intimacy of a small ship with generous space and top-tier amenities. Hosting 608 guests with a crew of 411, Silver Spirit delivers impeccable service and a nearly 1:1 crew-to-guest ratio that ensures a personalized onboard experience.
The 2018 lengthening project extended Silver Spirit’s size by nearly 49 feet, enhancing the overall space-to-guest ratio and allowing for expanded dining venues, additional suites, and new public areas. As a result, guests now enjoy more variety and flexibility while still experiencing the familiar elegance that defines Silversea.
Accommodations aboard Silver Spirit are all-suite and ocean-facing, with most offering private verandas. These luxurious sanctuaries range from the classic Veranda Suite to expansive Owner’s, Royal, and Grand Suites. Every suite includes a marble bathroom, sitting area, plush bedding, a walk-in wardrobe, premium amenities, and dedicated butler service. Each detail is thoughtfully curated for comfort and sophistication.
Culinary excellence is a cornerstone of the Silver Spirit experience. The ship offers a wide array of dining venues: Atlantide delivers refined international cuisine with a seafood emphasis; Indochine explores the bold flavors of Southeast Asia; La Terrazza presents Italian favorites with ingredients sourced from Italy; La Dame offers classic French fare in an intimate setting; and Silver Note combines small plates with live jazz. Additional casual options include The Grill (with lava-stone cooking), Spaccanapoli for authentic pizza, and Arts Café for light bites and refreshments throughout the day.
Silver Spirit’s public spaces are equally impressive. The Panorama Lounge and Observation Lounge offer panoramic ocean views in a serene setting, while the Venetian Lounge provides an elegant venue for cultural performances, lectures, and enrichment programming. Guests seeking wellness and relaxation can indulge in the Zagara Spa and Beauty Salon or keep up with their fitness routine in the well-equipped fitness center and outdoor jogging track.
Other amenities include a pool deck with ample seating and service, a casino, luxury boutiques, a library, and the Connoisseur’s Corner—a sophisticated space for cigars and premium spirits. Whether enjoying a quiet moment with a book or mingling with fellow travelers, guests will find the ambiance of Silver Spirit warm, polished, and inclusive.
Silver Spirit sails to destinations across the globe, including the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, South America, Asia, and the Caribbean. Each itinerary is curated to combine world-renowned ports with hidden treasures, and excursions are crafted to provide immersive, authentic local experiences.
For travelers who appreciate timeless elegance, refined cuisine, spacious accommodations, and intimate service, Silver Spirit offers an exceptional cruise experience. It is a ship where luxury and lifestyle harmonize—an ideal choice for sophisticated voyagers seeking a journey that is both cosmopolitan and comfortably familiar.

Good to know
Standard Wi-Fi is free and unlimited in every suite, one device at a time, and handles browsing, messaging, and email. Premium Wi-Fi, which supports streaming and video calls, costs extra but is complimentary in the upper suite categories and for full World Cruise guests.
Days are relaxed, comparable to five-star resort wear. From 6:00 p.m. evenings are Elegant Casual, with Formal Optional nights that scale with voyage length: none on sailings of 7 days or fewer, one or two on 8 to 14 days, two or more on longer voyages. Jackets are always optional and formal wear is never required. Expedition ships stay Elegant Casual throughout.
Shipboard gratuities are included in the fare, with spa services the one exception, so there is no working out who to tip on board. Tips for shore-excursion guides are not included; a common guideline is about $2.50 per guest on a half-day tour and $5 on a full day.
Select wines, champagnes, spirits, beer, and soft drinks are included in bars, restaurants, and your suite, and the butler keeps the minibar stocked to your preferences. A short list of premium labels, cigarettes, and cigars costs extra. Silver Origin does not carry champagne or caviar.
Every suite in every category comes with butler service, backed by a crew-to-guest ratio close to one to one. Butlers unpack your bags, serve in-suite breakfast, restock the minibar daily, and arrange laundry. In-suite dining runs around the clock.
Special diets are accommodated on request. Tell us when you book so the details reach Silversea at least 75 days before sailing. Guests with allergies can also arrange hypoallergenic detergent for their bedding in advance.
Most ships carry dedicated wheelchair-accessible suites, though Silver Origin has none, and public areas include accessible restrooms and Braille signage in the elevators. Mobility needs must be flagged before sailing, and guests who use a wheelchair throughout the cruise bring their own collapsible chair. We handle the arrangements with Silversea when you book.
Suites, balconies, and most public areas are nonsmoking. Smoking, including e-cigarettes and cigars, is permitted in the Connoisseur's Corner, plus a few designated outdoor spots that vary by ship.
A self-service launderette with machines, irons, and supplies is free on every ship except Silver Origin. Valet laundry and pressing are available for a fee through your butler, and come complimentary in the higher suite categories.
Silversea is an adult-oriented line: there are no children's programs, childcare, or babysitting on board. Infants under 6 months cannot sail, and the expedition ships, including Silver Endeavour, Silver Cloud, Silver Origin, and Silver Wind, do not take children under 5.
